Hello welcome to my page. The Dukes of Hazzard was a tv show that aired from 1979-1985. The show was a started as a 7 episode show to fill in an empty slot in the fall of 1979. It did so well Warner Bros. desided to do a whole season it was a big hit with children especialy the car, the General Lee. It was a 1969 Dodge Charger with a 440 magnum motor. The regular cast included the following: Bo Duke;John Schneider, Luke Duke; Tom Wopat, Daisy Duke; Catherine Bach, Uncle Jesse Duke; Denver Pyle, J.D.(Boss)Hogg; Sorrell Booke, Roscoe P Coltrain; James Best, Enos Strate; Sonny Shroyer, Cletus Hogg; Rick Hurst, LuLu Hogg; Peggy Rea, Coy Duke; Byron Cherry, Vance Duke; Christopher Mayer.

John Richard Schneider was born 4-8-60 in Mt. Kisko, Ny, but moved to Atlanta, Georgia with his mom Shirly, due to his mom and dad's divorce, when he was fourteen. When he 18 he auditioned for a part in a tv show called Dukes of Hazzard. They were looking for people ages 24-30 and from Georgia. He acted, he did not lie, like he was 23 and from Georgia, he was 18 and frome New York. Anyways he got the part, and launched a tremendous career. In 1982 he and Marie Osmond started the Childrens Miracle Network, a charity to help children in need. He has recorded over 10 country music albums with chart topping success in the late 80s with great traditional country songs like "Country Girls". John has had a pretty lengthy tv career also starring in such things as ;Eddie Macons Run,Cocain Wars, Highway Heartbraker, Heaven Help Us, and many many other tv and feature films. John also enjoys stage he Led the 1992 Broadway performance of "Grand Hotel". John now lives in SAn Antonio, TX with wife and 3 children and owns a family films company called Faithworks Productions.Inc. He is a Christian,and has a very Godly Christian Family. In my oppinion he is a real Hero!!!

My trip to see the Dukes at Renro Valley, Ky
|

I had to the chance to John Schneider and Tom Wopat sing together on their Duke of Hazzard Reunion Tour. The show was great. I'd seen them both numerous times before this, but this show was excellent. The show was Sept 5, 1998 at Renro Valley, Ky at 7.00p.m. The picture at left was taken at the show. It may not be used for any reason.
